Animal Party at L.E. Shore

Speaking of Wildlife is a Wildlife Education Centre that gives permanent sanctuary to non-releasable Ontario Wildlife; many of their animals have been injured, orphaned, abandoned or illegally kept as pets and were unable to return to the wild as they should. Meditation Workshop Series

A five week meditation course at the Library, free of charge. Week 1: Introduction to meditation and the benefits~decreased anxiety and stress, increased focus, strengthened memory and feelings of confidence and joy. Week 2: Exploring various meditation techniques Week 3: Creating an at home practice Week 4: More techniques to increase resilience, patience and kindness Week 5: Long, deep guided meditation. No experience or equipment needed. We will begin by meditating seated on chairs, and offer option to move to cushions as we progress. Students choice.
